I’ve had similar results to you with my MSI RX580 Gaming X 8Gb cards, an increase of 5MH so very happy. They are default hashing at 22.5mh/s and have hynix memory, did you get your improvement by copying 2:1750 to 2:2000, or the 1:1750 to 1:2000? That's it guys for the first 500s GPU tested by me, I hope this will be helful for many of you. However if you are going to use Trixx or MSI Afterburner set the following vales. Most of the RX 8GB GPUs can hit a hash rate of 29+ without any problems.
#Sapphire trixx crashing when changing settings in overclock how to#
So it is progress Any idea how to boost it to 27 or close to 30?, bro any progress on yours yet, i have the same card. T-Rex 0.5.1 Nvidia GPU Miner Benchmarks and Review. I had the same issue and it was because the overcloking crashed the cards and they were then working at 300Mhz.
Later in the article it states after modifications the card is running at 0.95 VDDC which is what results in the lower power consumption. That will fix it! Since I don’t pay for electricity, wattage is negligible. I tried to do some OC with Afterburner but most of the time it just crash the card. and i still can’t go over 21Mh…, It’s because your memory is Micron and not samsung, when you flash you win only 4-5 Mhs for all type of memories, I am trying a similar setup an like to start with 2 cards. I had the chance to make a quick mining hashrate test on Sapphire Nitro+ Rx 580 8GB GPU (thanks to Novan), after few tries and a bit of research i have found the best timings for this card, at least for now. I picked up a few Asus RX 580 for mining Ethereum and some other Altcoins: All values are displayed in 0:xxxx format. I have some 5x GPU rigs running on 850 watts supplies, but I do need to tweak the power settings to keep them running at ~700 watt draw so as to not overtax the PSU.
